Our Story

"The homemaker has the ultimate career. All other careers exist for one purpose only - and that is to support the ultimate career." -C.S. Lewis

At Santé, we exist to support you, the homemaker, in a healthy lifestyle so that you can have the focus, energy, and physical capability to joyfully pursue your God-given purpose.

Hi! We’re Caroline and Leslie and we equip women to create simple, no hassle, healthy lifestyles they love, so that they can stop worrying about restrictive rules and start living out their God-given purpose.

Here’s a little background on us. . .

We have each dealt with weight issues and the commonly accompanying insecurities throughout our lives and have gone through many cycles of restrictive diets (yup, even week-long juice cleanses). Although we came to it at different times, we have both embraced an intuitive approach to eating. No more counting calories!  We trust our senses to let us know how to eat. Neither one of us is the thinnest we’ve ever been now, but we’re happy with ourselves and we stand by the choices we make.

We have also both experienced tendinitis and other aches and pains.  Since then we’ve learned how common it is for women to experience pain while trying to keep up with workouts and going through major hormonal changes.  That’s not okay! So often, a tiny tweak in form can change everything! Our workout regimens are not about burning out our muscles as much as possible (although that can be fun), they’re about moving and moving WELL.  Once you get the fundamentals down really well, you’ll be amazed at the things you can do! Our goal in movement is two-parted; we want:

  • you to experience pain-free daily living and feel strong for whatever you need to do in your daily life.
  • you free to be up for anything (whether trying a new sport or going on adventures while traveling) and to say yes to fun experiences.

Since neither one of us was athletic or fit in any way growing up (did we forget to mention we’re sisters?), we have a huge heart for women that just don’t know what to do.  There’s so much conflicting information that it can be easy to sink into inaction. Please, don’t do that! We’re here for you! The woman in college who is super stressed figuring out life, the woman who is five months pregnant and wondering if it’s even safe to start exercising now, the woman with four kids and no time to add more things into her schedule, or the woman approaching menopause and nothing seems to work for her like it once did.  We see you all doing your best, and we want to equip you to live out your God-given purpose.

A little more about each of us:

Nutrition and Natural Lifestyle Specialist

She spent a year in France where she developed her love of creating an entire experience around dining.  She is currently in Texas, and since Texas has a long growing season she has recently taken up gardening to get great produce at a better price.  She loves studying and experimenting with new (and sometimes very old) ways to help her household live more healthily.

Mondays she teachers yoga, Wednesdays she spends in her church groups, and Friday is reserved for family movie night with her four kids.

She loves connecting with people in conversation, so if you schedule a call for more program information with or spend time in our Facebook group you’ll be getting to know her!

Movement and Postpartum Specialist

I was a classically trained violinist and performed in seven countries.  Poor posture and movement patterns during practice led to tendinitis in my arm.  I figured if improper movement could cause those problems then quality movement could alleviate them.  So I began a path into corrective and stabilizing exercises that I continue on today.

When I found out I was having a baby, I specifically studied prenatal and postpartum exercise.  I had heard so many stories of physical problems that women had during and after that time, and I wanted to do everything I could to have a physically smooth transition into motherhood.

If I’m moving I’m listening to a podcast; I can’t get enough. If I’m sitting I’m reading, unless I’m with my hubby in which case we’re probably watching a superhero movie.

I enjoy writing and what you read on our website was written by me.  If you email us about anything, you’ll be connecting with me.

The workouts each week were great and she was always conscious of where I was ability wise along the way but still pushed me to improve my time and technique. . . She always stressed the importance of listening to your body, which is I think, one of the best things to have in a coach. . . She was always encouraging me! I could not have done it without her! I would recommend her in a heartbeat! Anyone, whether beginner or advanced, can benefit from having a coach, and Leslie is definitely a great one!
