I've struggled with weight since I was a teenager.

Living in a household full of boys meant portions were large and consumed quickly.  We ate few vegetables, and the few we did eat, I hated.  I also rarely exercised, in fact I had an intense distaste for sweating.  So there I was on a very unhealthy path towards lifelong weight problems.

For years, I battled with my dieting failures.  

There was always guilt as I gave up on exercise routines and specific diet plans.  But then when I was 29, I was given a book suggestion that would change everything!  It was a book that showed me a different way to look at food and exercise - the French way.  Finally, I learned how to dine rather than eat, how to savor rather than scarf, and most importantly to respect my body and care for it, rather than punish it.

Since then, I've taken numerous trainings and courses to explain the science behind the simplicity of eating as a French Woman.  I also learned how to exercise as a French Woman, and for the first time in years, I was able to stop hurting myself in the name of cardiovascular exercise.  Instead, I focused on the exercises that my body wanted to do and had the natural ability to do.  I found yoga and my injury-induced pains began to be alleviated.

I now have my own daily practices that keep me feeling stronger and more flexible than I ever have been!

Who is this for?

This program is for you if you are ready to practice some self-care and invest in your own health.  You have to be honest about where you are and where you want to be physically speaking.

What differentiates me from other coaches?

I am not your average health coach. . . I do things a little differently.  

First, we delve into your own self-image.  We figure out where you are physically and then where you want to be.  Then we map out your personal game plan.

Next, we begin the fun experimentation process.  Except in the case of actual medical dietary restrictions, I open your eyes to the amazing flavors that are available to you.  We work together to change your mindset regarding food.  It is no longer consumed for fuel, but it becomes a pleasure-filled experience that you look forward to participating in every day.

Lastly, I help you gain more control over your physical body.  We build your strength and endurance and help you find exercises that you can do on your own to greatly alleviate those annoying aches and pains. I also throw in great yoga moves that work for your body and that you can do at home.

We study Scripture to find out who we are in God's eyes.

Begin consistent exercising schedule where only rule is to enjoy the routines.

Find Your Style: play with textures, colors, and styles to find what makes you feel at ease.

MONTH 2

Find Your Flavors
We focus on the flavors that you prefer, figuring our how to work them into your daily schedule, and clarifying your individual needs.

MONTH 3

Find Your Movement
This month's focus is on exercise and the enormous benefits that it gives. We learn how each type of exercise helps shape the body and then we create game plans to most effectively get you to where you want to be using the exercise modalities that you enjoy.

FRENCH TIP: Moving the body without sweating and getting in exercise throughout your busy day.

 

MONTH 4

Bring it all together!
This month we begin to see real results. We can start fine-tuning your personal fitness and nutrition plan to continue to see results even after our time together is complete.

Question: How is health coaching different from fitness training?

Answer: Health coaching is much more in depth.  In your sessions, we go through information tailored to you.  My health coaching program is more like a curriculum that we go through together.  We will address your entire mindset and how it can help or hinder your daily life.  You will learn about health and wellness, I will help you apply what you're learning to your life, we will develop meal plans and learn recipes, we will work together to overcome the barriers that are keeping you stuck in your current lifestyle, I will research topics pertinent to you so that we can plan for your healthy future, and we will build a long-term plan for you to use after the program is over.

Question: What if I don’t have time to exercise?

Answer: We work on time management so that you can find the time to take care of yourself. Time management is key to finding balance in your life.
 

Question: I was in an accident in the past. Will I still be able to exercise safely?

Answer: Of course!!! This program is all about you! We will create exercise routines that you can do safely and that will help you to improve your own health.
 

Question: I don’t know how to cook. Can I still use the recipes?

Answer: I show a few simple tips that will help you find your way around the kitchen with ease and all of your recipes and menu plans are built for your cooking abilities.
 

Question: What if I get pregnant or have some other medical issue that requires me to not exercise and/or follow a strict diet?

Answer: We can work within the parameters of your physician’s recommendations. Yoga is one of the safest forms of exercise, so it is easily modified per your physician’s orders. If you are placed on bed rest or other type of rest, we can freeze your spot in the program and you can join back in when your physician releases you.
 

Question: What if I decide to discontinue. Can I get a refund?

Answer: No. Unfortunately, we can not refund investments. We feel that you need to be completely invested in the program or you won’t get the results that we know you can get. I am very selective about the clients that I take on, so rest assured that if I don’t feel completely confident that I can help you, I will refer you to other coaches who can.
